Mental Patients Escape from Hospital

Two inmates escaped from a an upstate New York mental hospital late Monday, officials told the Press & Sun-Bulletin.

New York Department of Mental Hygine officials said Dan Regan, 31, and Nick Clinton, 30 escaped from Binghamton Intermediate Sanction Mental Facility on Leroy street near What's Your Beef Restaurant at 7pm.

Officials said Regan and Clinton escaped through the building's ventilation system by kicking out a wall panel.

Both men are presumed armed and dangerous. Local Binghamton residents are warned to stay inside and lock their doors and windows.
